The number is the severity: 1 is minor (usually cosmetic), 3 is large. Grade-1 marks are normal on used cars.
Small scratches on the front side. Lots of white smoke. Bumper, fender, and right rear door are slightly misaligned. Door edge scratches. Soft top rear glass is lifting. Small scratches on right front inner panel. Small scratches and scuffs on shift knob. Scratches inside trunk & under hood. Side sill scratches. Scuff on muffler tip. Note: Soft top has tape marks, lifting, wrinkles, and a tear when the vinyl is opened. The soft top check lamp is on due to the tape marks. Also, the steering wheel check lamp may come on due to the misaligned bumper.
